National Casino carries an offshore licence rather than an Irish permit. TechSolutions Group N.V. holds
OGL/2024/590/0758 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority. The certificate shows company number 144920, an issue
date of 14 April 2025 and Active status at the last check. That licence covers the platform, its games and
its payment flows. It stands apart from any authorisation granted inside Ireland.
Irish gambling law changed shape with the Gambling Regulation Act 2024, and the picture now splits into
three parts:
-
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland replaced the older patchwork of betting and lottery law,
and it grants national licences to operators serving Irish customers.
-
Offshore sites keep reaching Irish players in practice, and Irish law puts no penalty on an adult who
bets on one for personal entertainment.
-
A number of countries block online casino play outright, and those names sit on the restricted list
inside the general terms of National Casino. Ireland is not one of them.
The age floor in Ireland is 18, and the casino applies the same figure. Sign-up asks for real personal
data, and the name on the account has to match the payment method and the identity documents supplied
later.
Tax lands outside the casino. The Revenue Commissioners treat gambling wins by an Irish player as untaxed
personal income, so a €5,000 payout arrives whole. Betting duty falls on licensed bookmakers rather than
customers. National Casino deducts nothing from a payout.
The player picks the site and carries the result. Before opening an account, read the restricted country
list, the bonus terms and the payment page, then set them against Irish rules and your own budget.
This section is informational and does not replace legal advice. Irish players should check current
national rules before gambling online.
